    Lookout Beach

    Beach

Lookout Beach is a broad sandy beach located on the eastern side of Plettenberg Bay near the mouth of the Keurbooms River. Framed by coastal dunes, ocean surf, and surrounding headlands, the beach forms one of the most recognisable coastal landscapes in the area. Its position at the transition between river and ocean creates a distinctive shoreline environment.

    Photography Notes

Photography focuses on sweeping beach scenes, surf patterns, dune systems, river mouth landscapes, and views across the bay toward surrounding headlands. The combination of ocean, sand, and changing coastal conditions provides opportunities for both minimalist shoreline compositions and broader coastal landscapes.
