    Photography Notes

Maropeng is strongest during the first and last hours of daylight when warm light emphasises the contours of the tumulus structure and reflections become more pronounced. Wide-angle lenses work particularly well for capturing the architecture and surrounding water features, while elevated viewpoints help reveal the relationship between the building and the surrounding Cradle landscape.
