    Lake Manyara is a shallow alkaline lake forming the heart of Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its spectacular Rift Valley setting, seasonal flamingo flocks and remarkable diversity of birdlife. Framed by the towering Great Rift Valley escarpment, it creates one of northern Tanzania's most distinctive wildlife and landscape photography destinations.
