Access via paid trail system from Miðvágur. Stay back from cliff edges — strong winds are common. No barriers at the waterfall edge.

    Photography Notes

Shoot slightly elevated from the cliff approach to show the lake plateau before it drops into the ocean. Lateral movement changes how strongly the “floating lake” illusion reads. Including foreground grass or rock adds scale without distracting from the edge.
