    Seceda

    Landmark

Seceda is a high alpine ridge viewpoint in the Dolomites above Val Gardena in northern Italy. The ridge forms a sharp edge overlooking steep cliffs that drop toward the Odle / Geisler mountain group. The composition resolves through the serrated ridgeline and vertical mountain walls descending into the valley.

    Photography Notes

Photographs are typically made from the ridgeline where the sharp crest leads toward the Odle peaks. Small lateral shifts along the ridge change how the mountain spires align and affect the depth created by overlapping ridgelines.
