    Photography Notes

Shooting positions are concentrated around the circular pathways and outer edges of the complex, allowing both symmetrical and oblique compositions. Overcast, fog, and snowfall often produce the most graphic results by isolating forms against minimal backgrounds, while clear conditions enable layered mountain backdrops beyond the chortens.
